Get 2020 Vision with PMI Chattanooga

PMI Chattanooga Chapter is kicking off the new year with a new outlook on some familiar events.

We will start the new year by introducing members to the new boardand highlighting some of the successes of last year's team. And what a year it was! The chapter grew to record membership levels in 2019. The board responded by developing new ways for members to learn, connect, and get plugged in, while having fun in the process. There were multiple opportunities in 2019 for our very successful PMP Exam Preparation, Six Sigma Certification training, a day of professional development, and earning PDUs during our monthly meetings.

Our training each month included topics such as adaptability, problem-solving, conflict resolution, recruiting talent, and Agile. Our speaker for these events come from the local community and across the nation. Some meetings were focused on informing members about our community. We learned about small business development, plans that will shape our society, downtown growth, fiber, energy, and Rock City innovations.

If these events weren't exciting enough, we also included time during the month for coffee, nachos, beer, yoga, popsicles, wings, beer, and a party that came with presents!

PMI Chattanooga's mission is to provide members with training and to promote the use of project management within the community. We look for exciting topics to learn about that are essential to our members, and we create a relaxed and fun atmosphere. So, join us on Jan 16 to find out what's in store for this year and get your 2020 Vision.

This is also considered as a monthly meeting and PMI certificate holders who attend will be able to claim 1 PDU, as usual.
