Ed Lively
Senior Consultant and Trainer, IIL
Ed Lively is a seasoned project management trainer and consultant based in the United States, currently serving as a Senior Consultant and Trainer at the International Institute for Learning (IIL) since 2005. He brings deep expertise in Microsoft Project/Project Server, PMO implementation, and a wide range of soft skills training including negotiation, conflict resolution, and emotional intelligence. Before IIL, Ed held senior roles in publishing (Harcourt) and nonprofit finance (Mexican American Unity Council), where he led enterprise-level technology deployments, managed large teams, and even earned a patent for a relational database design. He holds an MBA in Finance from Texas Tech University and carries an impressive stack of certifications including PMP, MCT, MCSE, and CSM, among others. He is also a co-author of Dynamic Scheduling using Microsoft Office Project.
