October Chapter Meeting
The Chattanooga PMI Chapter will host its October luncheon with guest speaker Brian Cherry, Director of Information Security: Governance, Risk and Compliance BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee
Brian is responsible for overseeing Information Security Services (ISS) teams that focus on enabling the business to be more agile through effective and efficient risk identification and remediation efforts and maintaining a robust security compliance and governance framework to support business objectives and goals.
Brian has extensive informaiton security expertise and years of experience. Before his role at BCBST, Brian worked for Eminere Group, a Tampa-based assurance and advisory firm for IT Risk and IT Governance Services, where he served as a Senior IT Security Consultant focusing on Information Security and business alignment. Prior to that, he was responsible for the Global Information Security program at Cardno Inc., a professional infrastructure and environmental company.
Brian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of West Florida. He also holds accreditations as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Information Technology Infrastructure Library - Foundation (ITILf)

We recommend exiting on the 4th Street exit due to the construction of ML King at Chestnut Street and Pine Street. Turn right onto Chestnut Street, turn right on 6th Street. There is a parking garage on the right before the corner of Chestnut and 7th Street. For additional parking options, you will find metered parking along the sides of the building, addition pay to park Kiosks on Vine Street in between the Westin Hotel and Saint Paul's Church and across the street in front of the Liberty Tower Building off Chestnut Street.
*BCBST folks can take the shuttle and get off at the first DT stop in Chestnut St (right by the restaurants in West Village).
