2019 Professional Development Day

Chattanooga PMI is excited to feature Alana M. Hill, PMP as the speaker for the 2019 Professional Development Day. This event will be held at BlueCross BlueShield, one of our Gold Sponsors, for an all day event filled with learning, growth, and PDUs. 

Alana M. Hill, PMP is a passionate speaker, author, and consultant at 2Hill Consulting Services. Her experience as an engineer and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) in energy and talent development provides a real-world insight into how people and teams can excel. She has been recognized for her excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills. Her international, cross-functional business knowledge shapes her perspective of change management and seasons her presentations. Throughout her career, Ms. Hill has led diverse teams and delivered high-impact workshops all over the world.

Before establishing her consultancy, Ms. Hill enjoyed a colorful career with Schlumberger advancing from a Field Engineer to a Program Manager. In her tenure with the oilfield services giant, she not only managed technical and business projects, but also learned to drive an 18-wheeler! Ms. Hill holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and has twenty years of leadership and training expertise.

Ms. Hill is a member of Project Management Institute (PMI), Toastmasters International, and the Association for Talent Development. As a strong advocate for corporate and personal philanthropy, Ms. Hill donates her time to Fort Bend ISD, local school PTA boards, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and other civic and charitable organizations.

Together with her husband, she has raised four handsome boys as part of a beautiful blended family. As a passionate ministry leader and teacher, Ms. Hill has continued to pour God's love into the youth she encounters. As an involved parent, she offers encouragement and advice to parents of children of all ages. Her faith, perseverance, and desire to encourage others inspire her speaking and writing. She is the author of Love is a Catalyst, where she shares her family’s trials and triumphs over cancer. When she is not traveling the globe, you will find her running and serving in her church and community. Ms. Hill resides in Sugar Land, TX.
