Bruce Martin, Director – Enterprise Architecture

The differences and the Synergy Potential of Enterprise Architecture and Technical Project Management.
Bruce Martin serves as director of enterprise architecture for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, which has more than 6,000 employees and serves more than 3.5 million members in the state and across the country.
He leads teams responsible for defining, driving and managing alignment of BlueCross technology investments with the company’s business strategies. Working closely with divisional leadership, Martin provides multi-year IT investment planning and program/project architecture impact assessments, including options and impacts, capability gap analysis, and product reviews to ensure alignment across our various organizations.
Prior to joining BlueCross in 2014, Martin served as director of enterprise architecture for Kaiser Permanente and as chief technology officer for PepsiCo Inc.’s corporate services and Pepsi-Cola North America marketing divisions. Martin has over 20 years of experience leading information technology initiatives as well as enterprise architecture programs and business planning.
Martin earned a Master of Science degree from Pace University, a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from Lehigh University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Ursinus College.
