Bringing Home Energy Efficiency and Sustainability
Empower Chattanooga teaches residence of East Chattanooga neighborhoods and beyond how to make their home more energy efficient by decreasing their electric bill and improving the the health and comfort of their homes. Christian Shackelford will provide this training to the PMI group as well as share the challenges of managing home performance projects.
Christian is a Building Analyst, HERS Rater, and building science consultant bringing expertise from the home performance industry in California to green|spaces here in Chattanooga.
Christian has worked in home performance and energy efficiency for 6 years. From energy efficient construction to performing energy audits and running utility programs to helping homeowners save energy and live comfortably in their homes, his career has balanced the administrative side of the energy efficiency industry to the technical side of building science.
